Richard Miller on SportsRichard is a Jacksonville native graduated from Bishop Kenny High School and the University of North Florida with honors. At UNF, he received a bachelor’s degree in Communications. While attending UNF, he hosted a sports talk radio show for two and a half years and gained over 200 hours of radio experience.

With two other local radio stations, Richard helped produce numerous top-rated sports talk shows. In May 2009, he became the sports columnist for The Jacksonville Observer. Since his time with The Observer, Richard has created his own blog – MillerOnSports.com – to convey those fiery opinions.

As a contributing guest on “Inside the Game with Robin Valetutto,” Richard brought his hard-nosed, never-surrender opinions. After six months of contributing, he became a regular co-host of “Inside the Game” through July of 2010.

In August of 2009, Richard was asked to cover the Jacksonville Jaguars for Sporting News Radio. For 2010, he continued with the same duties.

As the nation’s youngest sports talk radio host, Richard is fearless in conveying his thoughts on sports and its effects on other hot topics. He feels most comfortable wearing headphones and speaking into a microphone.

At 25 years old, Sports Writer, Radio Talk Host and TV Announcer, Richard Miller, delivers the CW 17 LIVE television play-by-play for all home games. As part of the show, he conducts pre-game and post-game interviews of the players and coaches. You can see him and his co-host sitting center stage at the media table on the north end of the Arena.
